Screening and Live Painting in Ichinomiya Art Program

Please Respond, Cotton Town will be screened on Sunday, October 26, as part of “Dialogue, the Senses, and the Garden,” a partnership program of Aichi Triennale 2025.
The screening begins at 4:00 p.m., followed by a live painting session at 5:30 p.m. by painter Kayo Nomura, in collaboration with the film.
Nomura will paint her impressions from the film onto the wall of a century-old sawtooth-roof factory.
The program organizers note:
“Just as a place once on the verge of demolition finds new life, we hope to weave together moments where art reconnects memory and the present, individuals and communities, people and nature.”
