Special Screening in Nishio, Aichi
On Sunday, November 16, a special community-led screening of “Cotton Town, Please Respond” will take place at the Nishio City Convention Hall in Aichi Prefecture. Inspired by the film’s call to “Please Respond,” local residents — including Tenjiku Shrine and nearby businesses — came together to form the Cotton Town Response Committee.
The organizers share the following message:
“Nishio — the town where cotton first arrived in Japan, and where the deity of cotton is enshrined. Now is the time to respond.”
The event begins at 2:00 p.m., and the film screening will start at 2:30 p.m.
